Dressing room
Turn a photo into a rap character
Upload a photo of yourself, a friend who agreed, or your cat or dog. Get a character in the style you pick, ready to take the stage in the studio.
How it works
- 1
Upload a photo
One person or one cat or dog, facing the camera. Confirm it is you or that you have their consent.
- 2
Pick a style
Choose one of five illustrated looks. Pets can also stay realistic.
- 3
Name and save
Your character is saved to your account and ready to pick in step 2 of the studio.
Five illustrated styles

3D Figure
A glossy collectible figure with a big head.

Comic
Bold ink lines and halftone shading.

Anime
Cel shading and big expressive eyes.

Street Art
Spray-paint colour blocks and drips.

Clay
Matte plasticine with fingerprints, stop-motion style.

Realistic (pets)
Your pet as it is, dressed for the stage.
Pets can stay realistic
Cats and dogs can be drawn in any of the five styles or kept realistic, with their own fur and markings. People always become illustrated characters, never realistic faces.
What happens to your photo
- Your browser shrinks the photo and removes its metadata before upload.
- A photo check reads it once to confirm it fits the rules. The photo goes to Zhipu AI (China) for this check, and to our image model provider to draw the character.
- The photo is deleted from our storage as soon as your character is made, or if anything fails. We do not keep it, and we do not store face data or face templates.
- What stays in your account is the character picture, its name and style, until you delete it.
Consent and limits
- Use a photo of yourself, or of someone who agreed to it.
- Photos of children, public figures, groups, or anything inappropriate are declined.
- Photos of people become illustrated characters. Performance videos with them are not available yet; you still get the recording, the scene picture and the preview video.
- Pets: cats and dogs, one animal per photo, with no person in the frame.
- Up to 20 characters per account. Voices are not cloned: your character sings with a standard rap voice.
Questions
- Who can use it?
- Anyone with a credit pack or a plan. Free accounts can look around and unlock it by buying any pack.
- How much does it cost?
- The photo check is free. Creating a character costs 15 credits, and you only pay when it is made.
- Do you keep my photo?
- No. It is deleted right after your character is made, and never shown to anyone.
- Why was my photo declined?
- The message tells you why. Try a sharp, well-lit photo of one adult facing the camera, or of one cat or dog.
- Can I use my character in any rap?
- Yes. Pick it in step 2 of the studio, before you record. Battles can use two characters.
